If you are looking for a top international horse, here he is. This fabulous gelding has been started correctly and is showing his true athleticism. Rio has international gaits and an amazing future. He qualified for the 2008 Markel/USEF National Young Horse Championships. At one of his qualifying shows in Woodside, CA, he received an 81% and the blue ribbon. He again qualified for the Championships in 2009. Rio was second in the FEI 5 year old Class at Dressage at Devon with a score of 74.4%.

Pikko del Rio is a full brother to the stallion Pikko del Cerro HU the reigning US Champion 6yo Dresaage Horse.

Pikko del Rio’s full sister, Pikko de la Nube HU, was the Champion filly at the 2007 AHS inspection. His sister Pikko de la Luna was high Point at her fist show in Wellington, FL in April 2010. Don’t miss your opportunity to buy a future champion.

Pikko del Rio qualified in fifth place nationally for the 6 year old Young Horse Dressage Championships in 2010 with Lars Holmberg. 

In 2011, Rio won multiple classes at 4th Level. He is working Prix St. Georges and is currently in training in the Northeast.
